El poeta Paul \u00c9luard lo describi\u00f3 como \u00abel libro de im\u00e1genes m\u00e1s bello que ha existido\u00bb, y no es dif\u00edcil entender por qu\u00e9. Prinzhorn, psiquiatra, poeta, m\u00fasico y dibujante aficionado, reuni\u00f3 una impresionante colecci\u00f3n de obras de artistas considerados \"locos\". Su entusiasmo se refleja en cada p\u00e1gina, donde establece un di\u00e1logo entre la locura y el arte, abriendo un espacio para discutir la creatividad en la adversidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Me pregunto cu\u00e1ntos artistas con talento se encuentran en los hospitales psiqui\u00e1tricos de todo el mundo, especialmente en los pa\u00edses en desarrollo, donde los internos a menudo reciben un trato inhumano. \u00bfCu\u00e1ntos de ellos podr\u00edan beneficiarse de una exploraci\u00f3n art\u00edstica? \u00bfY si los gobiernos y sus directores se acercaran a descubrir el talento oculto en estos lugares? Esto llam\u00f3 mucho mi atenci\u00f3n, as\u00ed que decid\u00ed visitarla en 2008. Quer\u00eda conocerla y le ped\u00ed a mi amigo que me llevara para llevarle cuadernos y l\u00e1pices, para que pudiera seguir haciendo lo que le gustaba. Camin\u00f3 r\u00e1pido y se sent\u00f3 en el suelo, comenzando a dibujar como quien tiene mucho que decir y poco tiempo. Mi amigo sali\u00f3 a hablar por tel\u00e9fono, y yo me qued\u00e9 sentado, observ\u00e1ndola disfrutar cada trazo, cada gesto de su rostro, sonriendo mientras creaba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el camino de regreso, reflexion\u00e9 sobre la insensibilidad de los pol\u00edticos ante tanta necesidad. A veces me pregunto c\u00f3mo pueden dormir tranquilos, sabiendo todo lo que deben hacer y, en la mayor\u00eda de los casos, prefiriendo ignorar esta dura realidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es fundamental crear pol\u00edticas art\u00edsticas para enfermos mentales en hospitales psiqui\u00e1tricos en pa\u00edses como la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana. Inspir\u00e1ndonos en el trabajo de Hans Prinzhorn, es evidente que el arte puede ser una herramienta poderosa para la expresi\u00f3n y la sanaci\u00f3n de las personas que enfrentan trastornos mentales.
