presenta una serie de 20 piezas en miniatura creadas, en su mayor\u00eda, con materiales reciclados que han sido recogidos en las playas del pa\u00eds del artista Juan Butten. Esta muestra invita a reflexionar sobre la gravedad de la contaminaci\u00f3n en los oc\u00e9anos. Actualmente, la cantidad de desechos pl\u00e1sticos flotando a la deriva es tan preocupante que se predice que incluso superar\u00e1 la cantidad de peces para el a\u00f1o 2050. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, se han detectado numerosas \"islas\" de basura en alta mar, principalmente en el oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico, y miles de animales han sido encontrados muertos en las costas debido a la ingesti\u00f3n de residuos.<\/p><p>Estos materiales recolectados, que da\u00f1an nuestro ecosistema, se utilizaron para representar una parte de nuestro folclore y, al mismo tiempo, rescatar fragmentos de nuestra historia. En las obras se destaca la relatividad del efecto del tiempo en las cosas, enfatizando que, a pesar de su paso, solo alteran su belleza, pero no la pierden. Se subraya que todas las etapas son hermosas y necesarias, un principio que se puede aplicar tanto en el caso de estructuras como en el de cosas y personas. Nos recuerda que, aunque no podamos vivir en el pasado, no es tan f\u00e1cil borrarlo de nuestra esencia, ya que el impacto del tiempo es innegable e inmutable, y un paralelismo evidente es la relaci\u00f3n entre lo que representa el \u00f3xido para el zinc y las arrugas para una persona. Este edificio fue el primer proyecto del autor en el que trabaj\u00f3 en la fachada. Aunque el edificio est\u00e1 en ruinas, el autor lo considera un edificio muy hermoso y \u00fanico en la ciudad. Luego, en otra visita, nos informaron que en el edificio vive un guardia de seguridad a quien se le llama en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana \u201cGuachi\u201d, derivado de la palabra guachim\u00e1n, una forma adaptada del ingl\u00e9s \"watchman\". Este edificio tiene un comercio en el primer piso, algo muy com\u00fan en esta avenida. Habla sobre la historia de esta avenida y sus cambios a lo largo del tiempo. La Avenida Mella fue la arteria comercial m\u00e1s importante de la capital, Santo Domingo, y fue un centro de innovaci\u00f3n y dinamismo comercial con una amplia variedad de establecimientos a reason behind the creation of this project is to preserve and give a place in our historical memory to some of the most beautiful buildings in our country, which have been somewhat forgotten. By combining different techniques and using recycled materials that I restored and modified as needed, I aimed to convey a social message: to value things and people while they are here and there is time, including both buildings and the environment. Thanks to the knowledge I acquired since the early 80s with graffiti, which was the catalyst that brought me closer to drawing, printmaking, painting, and sculpture, I embarked on this adventure that I hope will not only excite me and others, but also convey the message I wish to share.<\/p><p>As I read somewhere: \u201cArt plays a mediating and driving role in communication, as the artist, through their creation, transmits not only emotions but also messages, prompting us to reflect on our existence, social issues, and life in general.\u201d Made 100% by hand with recycled materials, recycling allows us to reduce the spaces for final disposal of solid waste, having a tremendous positive social and environmental impact. 2000 has remained relevant and fresh after more than 50 years in graffiti culture. His work continues to be both contemporary and authentic. I was fortunate to attend the exhibition with MATE DFA, another graffiti legend vandal of the 90s in New York City and one who strated the crew DFA. Both of us were amazed by the showcase and had the chance to reconnect with old friends. tribute to the Dominican artist Joe 136, who was one of the most influential figures in graffiti culture during the 1960s. At the center is JOE-136, who might have been the first king of Broadway Local during 1970-71.
